“For it is in giving that we receive.” St Francis of Assisi
Thank you for considering a gift to Guadalupe Radio Network. If you are interested in supporting through these or other giving methods such as planned gifts or in-kind goods and services, please contact us to discuss additional opportunities.
What should concern us as Christians is that in giving there are deep reasons, the ones that touch our very souls.
From a spiritual standpoint, you give because of your relationship with God. Giving is an act of faith equal to prayer and fasting. Historically, men and women have made offerings to God in recognition of their dependence on Him and in gratitude for the gifts given them. Everything we have comes from God. We are God’s stewards, accountable for the ways in which we use the time, the talents and the material goods God has given us.
Jesus commanded us to care for our brothers and sisters in need – to “love your neighbor as you love yourself.” Throughout the Gospel, Jesus speaks of His concerns for the poor and the oppressed. God wants those of us who possess the riches of this life to share them with those who are less fortunate. Jesus individually speaks to us when He says, “What you do for these, the least of My brethren, you do for Me.”

In-kind contributions are donations of goods, services or time — instead of cash.
- Tangible goods include things like equipment, books, cars, clothing, furniture, art, jewelry etc.
- In-kind services are professional services donated by groups such as corporations, small businesses, vendors or tradespeople.
- An in-kind donation involving time occurs when people give their time free of charge or for payment by a third party on the nonprofit's behalf.
- Establishing the value of the in-kind contribution is the responsibility of the donor
Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving vehicle sponsored by a public charity that allows a donor to make a contribution to that charity, receive an immediate tax deduction and then recommend grants over time to any IRS-qualified public charity.
Corporate Matching Gifts
In some instances, companies may offer a benefit that provides a corporate match on employee or retiree charitable donations. Check with your human resources department to see if your employer offers a matching gift and if your donations may qualify. Thank you and God bless!
Ways of Giving
Our faith teaches us that we are called to give back by sharing our blessings with others. Faithful stewardship can take a variety of forms, and the Church encourages Catholics to give of their time, talent and treasure to spread the Good News of the Gospels.
Giving of your TIME means volunteering hours in service to others and to the Church that you could have spent doing something else.
Giving of your TALENT means using the gifts and abilities that God has blessed you with to benefit the Church and those around you.
Giving of your TREASURE means sharing your financial resources to strengthen the Church and its mission to transform lives through the power of faith.
